The Crookwell Heritage Railway will have a display at the NSW Rail Museum’s Model and Miniatures event held over 3 days from 13th – 15th July 2018.
On display will be the The Rail Bike on loan from Rail Explorers USA. CHR propose to operate Rail Bikes on the Crookwell branchline as well as ex-NSW railways Trikes and Trolleys. We encourage you to visit us at this great event in Thirlmere, NSW and get a hands on experience with our new project. You can also talk to us about getting involved.
At present the only Rail Bike operation in Australia is the Railtrack Riders in Maydena, Tasmania. We want to bring this exciting tourist attraction to the main land, to explore our rail heritage from the inside out.
We will be located behind Bayer Garratt 6040 in between the entrance hall and the Great Train Hall.
